Empire State Hats Brown Wool Fedora Hat
A beautiful dark chocolate brown men's vintage 1940s Empire State Hats fedora is cool-looking and stylish. The hat is wool felt with a center crease top and has a grosgrain ribbon with overlapped bow and yellow feather.
The hat has a yellow and gold satin lining with the emblem Empire State Hats. It is of a stiff structure and well made. It is made in the U.S.A.
A man's hat looks exceptional on a woman, also.

It is measured inside the hat's sweatband.

CONDITION
Excellent
The felt wool was brushed, steamed, cleaned, and the brim shaped slightly.
A small area the size of a pencil head by the crown has some slight thinning wool, and a small area on the top of the crown is shown in photographs.
This hat is vintage and in excellent condition for the period. Remember, this hat is from the forties. There are very few Empire State hats in existence today.

HISTORY
The hat was found in my vintage hunt travels and purchased in a general country store in Albany, New York.
HOW TO TAKE HAT MEASUREMENTS
How to measure for your correct hat size. First, you'll need a dressmaker's tape measure. Start at the center of the forehead 1 inch above the brow and measure around the head. Make sure the tape measure is above the ears. Mark the number, this is your head size.
If you would like to wear the hat higher, you should measure forehead further above the brow.
Some hats are meant to sit on top of the head. In this case, go with the era or style you would like to portray. Pillbox hats sit on top of the head.

H. Warren, Newton Abbot English Black Bowler
A beautiful rare, H. Warren, Newton Abbot vintage fur felt black bowler worn in England in the 1930s has impressive craftsmanship and structure.
The 1930s hat features a round crown with grosgrain ribbon and a side bow. Grosgrain ribbon-bound edge finishes the brim. The sweatband is a whiskey tan with a silk bow, knotted ends, and a gold stamp insignia "Fine Fur Felt Made in England."
A customer's name is handwritten on the headband side, and a tag on the headband has a crown and numbers.
It is an excellent one-of-a-kind gift for the hat collector. A man's hat that also is quite becoming on a woman. The unique shape of a British bowler is striking and brings cheerfulness to others.

The circumference is measured around the inside of the sweatband.

The hat is in excellent condition outside of the flaws mentioned.
The sweatband is detached on one side but still intact. Some wear on grosgrain at the brim. A small area above the grosgrain ribbon has a slight indentation on the surface. This area is hard to see when the hat is worn because of the slightness of the indent. Sturdy structure. The hat liner is a light gold cream satin with a symbol of three crowns and a lion. Written and stamped inside.

Green Leaf Pink Floral Juliette Hat 50s
Oh, so pretty vintage 1950s green leaf, pink floral millinery Juliette hat.
It is a half-cap style with tiny pink flowers and green leaves surrounding the crown. The top of the cap has beautiful roses, large green leaves, a pink velvet ribbon, a Veil, and rhinestones.
It is a delicate veil that looks sweet, depicting a bird's nest. The inside of the cap has a sturdy, woven net, structured lining, and a velvet border. This cap is worn with a hat pin to secure it.
It is a beautiful rare find perfect for weddings, summer affairs, and gift-giving.

The hat's structure is in excellent condition—a tiny open mesh area near the upper front inside lining. The vintage net veil is fragile and needs handling with care; rhinestones are attached tightly and in near perfect condition—Floral is in excellent shape and connected well.

Light Peach Juliette Satin Feathered Hat
Classic early 1950s light peach satin Juliette cap adorned with rhinestones and a pale feather.
A long pale feather sits between a uniquely designed overlapped ribbon ban—a pretty diamond pattern lining. The hat's structure is a rigid round crown (including a structured band) with V-shaped brown pipe wire side clamps to help hold the cap. You can choose to obscure it by framing it with hair.
Updos and short hairstyles are perfect for this hat style to frame the face. In the 1950s, "Sabrina," Audrey Hepburn movie wearing the Juliette hat referencing the decade's fashion.

1950s Mink Peach Satin Moire Pillbox Hat
United Hatters Cap & Millinery 1950s pillbox hat has a beautiful mink border and deep peach satin moire fabric.
This vintage hat has a deep peach-colored top, front border, and lining. It has a grosgrain ribbon sweatband, is fully lined, and has a union tag.

It's a hard label to read, but I have tried to get it pretty exact. We kj found no brand label attached.
After some research, I found the hat was sold at a Bullock's store in California. Bullock's upscale stores were in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Ana, and San Fernando Valley. Bullock's was founded in 1907 and acquired upscale I. Magnin & Co, in 1944. Both luxury stores ended their reign, Bullocks in 1992 and I. Magnin in 1995.
