Genesis New York Tan Leather Jacket
Genesis New York's soft tan leather jacket early to mid-1980s is a soft, smooth vintage leather with gold-tone hardware.
This jacket has a round collar, batwing sleeves, zippers, and zipper pulls—a leather grommet belt with a roller buckle.
Other features include wide belt loops, a front side zipper, and zippered pockets—thick shoulder pads.

CONDITION
Excellent
This jacket has a lovely vintage leather patina with a slightly weathered look. Soft, supple, and smooth. Nicely constructed and sewn well.
The belt has a darker tone area to leather near the front end.
The lining is in near mint condition without rips or holes. Gold-tone zippers have normal wear for a jacket at this age.

The garment has no fabric or material label on the jacket's lining. Looking at and examining the leather, I and others believe it is Italian lambskin leather, and the coat is produced in New York. Genesis was known for using Italian leathers in their jackets.
